The software turns grey and becomes unresponsive
The grey screen is caused by a disruption in the user's internet connection. The disruption may have been quick enough that it did not impact other online services that are not dependent on a steady data stream.
(1) Check your internet connection.
(2) If your internet is connected, simply click on the refresh button on your web browser
(3) It this doesn't correct the issue, close the browser window completely, wait 30 seconds, re-open the browser, and enter the URL for the online portal
